Showpress Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Showpress (the “Service”), a production workspace operated by Pod Bros Media LLC (“Pod Bros Media,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company, agency or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it, and “you” means that organization.

The Service

Showpress helps podcast and video teams plan episodes, run client onboarding, prepare titles, descriptions, transcripts, artwork and social posts, publish to connected platforms, and review analytics.

• Agency workspaces let a studio manage its own clients. Each client can be invited to a portal limited to its own workspace.
• Creator workspaces cover a single show.
• Podcasts hosted through Showpress are published on the Showpress network account at Transistor, which Pod Bros Media manages.

Choosing the right plan

The Creator plan is for podcasts and shows you own or host yourself. Producing or managing shows for clients or other third parties requires the Agency plan.

If a Creator workspace is used for client work, we may move it to Agency pricing. We will email you at least 14 days before the change, and you can cancel before it takes effect instead.

Accounts and access

You must give accurate account information, keep your password and sign-in links private, and tell us promptly at nick@podbrosmedia.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity in your workspace.

Agencies decide which team members and client users to invite and what they can do. Each agency is responsible for its invitations and for its clients' use of the Service.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our payment processor, at the price and plan limits shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes.

Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period.

We may change prices or plan limits with at least 30 days' notice. A change applies from your first billing period after the notice period ends.

Free trials

Some plans include a free trial. The Creator plan currently includes a 7-day trial. A payment method is required to start a trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically when the trial ends and your payment method is charged the plan price. We send a reminder before the trial ends. Trials are limited to one per person or organization.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from Billing in your workspace (Manage billing) or by emailing nick@podbrosmedia.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until then and are not charged again. If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable, including for partial months and unused time, except where the law requires a refund or we agree to one in writing. If you think you were charged in error, email nick@podbrosmedia.com within 30 days of the charge and we will review it.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, Stripe retries the charge and we notify the workspace owners. While a balance is unpaid we may pause publishing; if it remains unpaid we may suspend or cancel the subscription.

Connected accounts and third-party services

You can connect Google (Drive, Docs, Sheets and YouTube), Meta (Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts and Threads), TikTok, LinkedIn, Metricool, WordPress and other services. Showpress acts on these accounts only at your direction, for example to create folders, upload media or publish posts you schedule.

Your use of each connected service is also governed by that service's own terms. By connecting YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. We are not responsible for changes, outages or decisions by third-party services, including their removal of content.

On TikTok, a video is sent only after you choose its privacy and interaction settings and select Post to TikTok. Showpress does not add a watermark. You can disconnect any service at any time in Settings.

Podcast hosting on the Showpress network

Shows hosted through Showpress live on the Showpress network account at Transistor. We may pause or limit publishing on the network to enforce these Terms, for non-payment, or to protect the network. If you leave Showpress, we will provide your RSS feed and reasonable help moving your show to another host.

Your content

You and your clients keep all rights to the content you upload or create in Showpress. You grant Pod Bros Media a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit and display that content only as needed to operate the Service for you, including AI-assisted drafting and publishing to the services you connect.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for everything you upload or publish, including music, guest likenesses and third-party material.

AI-assisted features

Some features use AI providers to draft titles, descriptions, captions, transcripts, keyword research and images. AI output can be inaccurate or resemble other content. Review it before you publish; you are responsible for what you publish.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or the rules of a platform you publish to;
• upload or publish content that infringes others' rights, or that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative or deceptive;
• send spam or use the Service to manipulate engagement;
• try to access another workspace, another agency's data, or any part of the Service you were not given access to;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, introduce malware, or probe, scan or test its security without our written permission;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, except that agencies may use it to serve their own clients.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, do not pay, or create risk for us, other customers or the network. Where reasonable we will notify you first. You may stop using the Service at any time.

After your account ends, we may delete your workspace data after 30 days. Export anything you need before then.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or any particular audience, ranking or revenue result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pod Bros Media will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Pod Bros Media against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Pod Bros Media LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in that state have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these Terms or the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell workspace owners by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
